It examines the evolution of national policies, evaluates the security level of the industry chain through multidimensional indicators, and explores vulnerabilities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. Subsequent chapters investigate the impacts of global competition, technological dependence, and geopolitical tensions on China’s semiconductor development, while also assessing regional differences and innovation capacity. The book concludes with strategies for strengthening resilience, enhancing international collaboration and competition, and promoting sustainable industrial growth. By integrating empirical evidence with policy insights, it offers valuable guidance for scholars, policymakers, and industry practitioners concerned with China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, supply chain security, and the future of global technology governance. Prof. Tao MA is Dean of Business School at Harbin Institute of Technology, doctoral supervisor, and visiting professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). He is Chief Expert of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund. He focuses on China’s economy, digital economy, and industrial layout. Tiantian Wang is a Ph.D. candidate at the Business School, Harbin Institute of Technology. Her research interests focus on regional economy, manufacturing productivity, and industrial layout. Jian Zhang is Senior Researcher at Fujian Electronic Information Application Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. He has extensive experience in semiconductor research and digital economy, and has contributed to major provincial and national projects, including policy design for the integrated circuit industry.PPN: PPN: 1940147034Package identifier: Produktsigel: ZDB-2-SEB | ZDB-2-ECF | ZDB-2-SXEF | ZDB-2-SOB
