Zusammenfassung: Over the course of more than 216 years of activity, the Archivio di Stato of Naples has constantly sought to manage its rich documentary heritage despite transfers, losses and destruction, often starting from the indexes created and transmitted by the same institutions that produced the archives deposited or delivered: simple lists of contents, ancint inventories, repertoires and “pandette”. In the collection called Museo, there is a series identified by the letter C, which contains the inventories no more used for archival reference. Between this historical series and the inventories in use, described in the SIAS (State Archives Information System) and in the database of the Archivio di Stato of Naples, there is a collection called Inventari antichi, located in a room next to the Sala inventari, which includes inventories and related materials that, although they concern items that no longer exist or have been rearranged, are still useful for archival reference. This census consists of a description of the ancient reference keys to the documentation held by the Archivio di Stato of Naples and covers the items stored in two rooms of it, where, over time, a large number of access keys have accumulated that are defined as “ancient” because they are no longer useful for research, either because they have been upgraded or because they relate to documentation that has been lost due to warZusammenfassung: Nel corso di oltre 216 anni di attività, l’Archivio di Stato di Napoli ha costantemente cercato di dominare il suo ricco patrimonio documentario nonostante i trasferimenti, le perdite e le distruzioni, partendo, molto spesso, dagli strumenti storici creati e trasmessi dagli stessi soggetti produttori degli archivi versati o consegnati in deposito: semplici elenchi di consistenza, inventari antichi, repertori e pandette. Nel fondo denominato Museo esiste una serie contrassegnata con la lettera C, che raccoglie gli inventari storici non più utilizzati per le attività di consulenza archivistica. Tra questa serie storica e gli inventari attualmente in uso, descritti nel SIAS (Sistema Informativo degli Archivi di Stato) e nel sistema informatico dell’Archivio di Stato di Napoli, c'è una raccolta denominata Inventari antichi, collocata in un locale adiacente alla sala inventari, che include inventari e mezzi di corredo che, pur riguardando materiali ormai non più esistenti o riorganizzati, conservano ancora un’utilità per la consulenza archivistica. Il presente censimento consiste nella descrizione delle antiche chiavi di accesso del patrimonio documentario dell’Archivio di Stato di Napoli e ha interessato le unità custodite presso due locali dell’istituto di conservazione, dove sono andati accumulandosi nel corso del tempo un ampio numero di chiavi di accesso definite “antiche” in quanto non più funzionali alla ricerca o perché aggiornate o perché relative a documentazione perita per cause bellichePPN: PPN: 1983972487Package identifier: Produktsigel: ZDB-94-OAB
