Zusammenfassung: The „Database of Chinese Classic Ancient Books“ (Zhongguo Jiben Gujiku) is one of the largest digital archives of ancient Chinese prints. It contains nearly 10,000 titles (160,000 juan) of classical works across all dynasties up to the Minguo-period (early 20th century). All texts are provided in full text and image format, allowing for a direct comparison both between digitized text and original text image and in some cases between different editions of the text. Retrieval of the digital text is possible but limited to 200 characters in each step. All titles of the Jiben guji database are also entered into the EAD online catalogue: <a href='crossasia.stabikat.de' target="_blank"> crossasia.stabikat.de</a>.
