Inhaltlich handelt es sich um eine gut strukturierte Sammlung von 55 Programmierrezepten für fortgeschrittene C++-Programmierer, die auch trotz der Tatsache, dass mit C++0x in diesem Jahr ein hier natürlich noch nicht berücksichtigter neuer Standard gültig wird, durchaus noch seine Berechtigung in ausgebauten Programmierbeständen hat. Kann dennoch keine systematische Einführung in C++ wie zuletzt z.B. J. Wolf (ID-A 17/11) ersetzen. Hauptsächlich zum Ersatz verbrauchter Exemplare empfohlen!
